I have had my eye on this one for some time now, well since last summer actually when we walked along the old railway line at Cwm Prysor and were looking across at this mighty gem.I have put the details in my travel journal for you to have a look at and some pictures as always. The day was absolutely gorgeous sun shining and could not have asked for more, although a lift down would have been nice, just joking but the coming down was the worst bit I thought any way,if I had started to come up the way we came down I think I would have given up it is a relentless grass slope all the way to the top.in fact it is that steep if you came down on a sledge in the snow I think you would break the sound barrier.Any way enough of that, the views are spectacular whilst walking up to the Cairn and once you are up there ,well you will have to go and look for your self,no camera on this planet can capture these views
(well maybe little bits).

Really enjoyed the video. Although this is on my"to do" list for 2012, I think after watching the descent, I might give this one a miss for now. There is another mountain in that area which is higher up on my list; Aran Fawddwy near Bala. Love your new "intro".by the way. Stunning pics too. Keep em comin!

cheers Gordon for taking the time once again to use this site Arenig Fawr is a much better option to do first believe me come back down the same way we went up on the vid...Arenig Fawr ...don and me have done once before and it is relentless going up I nearly passed out I burnt that much body fuel .The second time the crew did it and the weather beat us back down to the bottom without reaching the summit..we will have to attempt again 2012.

Yes, we enjoyed your video, too. This web site is looking great, it is a fascinating resource for the armchair explorer and the person prospecting for new adventures. Your personal touches make it so much more interesting than the average blog...keep it up, please!

lian,(and petra looking over your shoulder) I know, thanks for taking time to comment on here I like this site and this format it gives me chance to be a little more personal about things that we see and things that we do to a certain level, you know what I mean. When I was building up the site I was tending to put a lot of pictures of us on it but quickly realised the mistake, although some pictures of us are nice to look at I had to start to train my eye to pick up on things around the person in the shot to show off the are or the subject .....learning curve I think its called...regards wez
